WAB Course – More Safety. More Control. More Confidence on the Road.

The mandatory WAB course is an important milestone for all new drivers. Within the first year of your three-year probation period, you don’t just expand your knowledge – you develop into a more aware, safer, and more responsible driver.

At the ASSR Anti-Skid Driving School, you experience road safety not just in theory, but hands-on – using your own vehicle (automatic or manual).

Learning That Stays With You

In the theory section, we combine essential fundamentals with real-life driving situations:

• Vehicle safety – what truly matters
• Driving physics made understandable (e.g. residual speed)
• Causes of accidents and their often underestimated consequences
• Smart, energy-efficient driving
• Exchange of experiences on equal terms
• Responsibility in traffic and liability (recourse law)

Experience Instead of Just Listening

On our state-of-the-art training facility, you will experience situations that can occur in everyday driving – and learn how to respond correctly:

• Safe following distance – and why it can save lives
• Emergency braking with and without ABS
• Controlled and safe cornering
• Visual scanning techniques for better awareness and calmness
• Reaction time awareness and training
• Planning and adapting your speed correctly

What You Gain from the Course

By the end of the day, you take more with you than just theory:
You understand how your vehicle truly behaves – and how your own actions make the difference.

You learn to:

• Recognize dangers early instead of reacting too late
• Maintain full control of your vehicle, even in critical situations

Well Supported Throughout the Day

To let you fully focus on the experience, lunch is included in the course. The training is conducted using your own vehicle – ensuring maximum realism in every exercise.

Important Information

A rental car (automatic) costs CHF 50.-

Discounts and vouchers must be entered at the time of booking – no reductions can be applied afterwards.

Members of the ACS Switzerland receive a CHF 60.– discount on the WAB course at the ASSR Driving Center Regensdorf.
